Kevin Koers had a vision of having the most sought after graduates by colleges, universities and the world of work. He collaborated with teachers, parents, students and staff to implement a true Professional Learning Community. Through these combined efforts, Franklin Central earned National, State and local recognition as one of the best high schools in the United States, Indiana and Indianapolis. Serving as Principal at Franklin Central for 17.5 years, Kevin has been named Outstanding Administrator of the Year by the Indiana Association of Student Councils in 2018, three time District 7 Principal of the Year by the Indiana Association of School Principals and the Indiana Principal of the Year in 2006.
